Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How long is a private session?
A: If it's your first time working with me, the session will be 90 minutes including an introduction to the breath technique, a personal check-in, and a post-session integration.
Q: What are your office hours?
A: I do not hold regular office hours. I have a limited amount of private session appointments available each week. Please contact me and I will provide you with a list of the days and times that I currently have available. I book appointments on a first-come-first-serve basis and am sometimes able to offer same-day appointments.
Q: Where is your office located?
A: My office is located in Santa Monica, California near Wilshire and 2nd. I will provide you with all of the details including address, directions, and parking options upon booking your in-person session with me. As an alternative, I also facilitate sessions virtually via Zoom. Find pricing details further down.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: Due to limited availability, please provide me with as much notice as possible if you need to change or cancel your appointment. You are required to email me at least 24 hours in advance of your session to make changes or cancellations. Any change or cancellation requests made within 24 hours of your appointment are charged a 50% fee. On behalf of myself and my clients, I appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
Q: How do I prepare for my session?
A: I will provide you with this information via email prior to your session.
Q: I've done breathwork before. Is this the same?
A: Read about the distinction between "breathwork" and what I am offering here. The experience of every breath session you do with me will be different each time.
Q: What should I expect to experience during a session?
A: At the beginning of your session, I will provide you with detailed information about the breath technique - what it is, where it comes from, and how it works. I will describe the specific sensations that you may feel during your session and why you may feel them so that you can be informed and prepared. You will also have the opportunity to ask any questions that you may have.
Q: What happens after my session?
A: At the end of your session, I will provide you with information about how to integrate your session in order to continue getting the most out of it.
Q: How much is it?
A: A personalized in-person one-on-one session with me at my office is $250. A personalized one-on-one session with me online via Zoom is $200. A private group session with me online is $100 per person (for 2 or more people). In order to keep my pricing fair, transparent, and consistent, I offer the same options to all of my clients (and list them here on my website).
Are these options beyond your self-care budget? Simply sign up for one of my Weekly Breathwork Classes to enjoy regular guided practices with me in the comfort of your own home (also available in-person in Encinitas, California).
Q: Do you offer discounts?
A: Yes. Upon request, I offer first-time clients who are referred to me by current clients a $25 discount on their first one-on-one session. When a client refers me to someone new, following the completion of the new client's first session with me, I offer the original client a $25 discount on their following one-on-one session.
